Virginia High School Basketball - Hopewell knocked off by Thomas Dale
January 6, 2023: Hopewell, VA 23860 The Thomas Dale Knights basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Hopewell Blue Devils to 28 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowbrook for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Thomas Dale will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 65-50 non-league win over Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-3.
The Blue Devils (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Dinwiddie was defeated by Prince George (Prince George, VA), 59-57, in a non-league contest.
