Illinois High School Basketball - Antioch trounces Grant Community
January 6, 2024: Antioch, IL 60002 The Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), 61-38 in Saturday's league test.
The Sequoits (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (Chicago, IL). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Perspectives-IIT/Joslin walloped Orr (Chicago, IL), 71-35, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Round Lake for a Northern Lake County test on Wednesday, January 10. Grant Community will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 69-29 league loss to Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-13.
