Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) and the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), saw Wauconda's basketball squad hold off Grant Community by a tally of 65-64.

With the victory, Wauconda improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 12-14. Yorkville Christian won 90-69 in their recent non-league challenge against MCC (Morton Grove, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Grant Community will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Sequoits come into the challenge with a 11-15 record after their 48-36 league win over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL).
