The Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) basketball nipped the host Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE), 46-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Bayard (Bayard, NE). The Tigers go into the D1 District 12 test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Bayard got by Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE), 38-32, in a non-league test.
