Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE) and the visiting Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE), saw Hay Springs's basketball squad hold off Crawford by a tally of 50-48.

With the victory, Hay Springs improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Banner County (Harrisburg, NE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Banner County lost 72-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Cody-Kilgore (Cody, NE)
