Spectators at Saturday's non-league outing between the Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) and the visiting Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH), witnessed Mapleton's basketball squad nip Northwestern by a margin of 57-53.

The Mounties (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH). The Flames go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Mansfield Christian got by Lucas (Lucas, OH), 65-31, in a league outing.
