Maine High School Basketball - Telstar holds off Buckfield
January 6, 2025: Buckfield, ME 04220 The Telstar Rebels basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Buckfield Bucks to 63 in the Rebels league triumph on Monday.
The Rebels now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. Telstar will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 65-64 non-league win over Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Buckfield falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bucks host North Haven (North Haven, ME) to confront the Hawks in a D South game on Tuesday, January 7. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 0-4. North Haven lost 60-17 in their recent league game against Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME)
