The Wheatley Wildcats basketball squad (Old Westbury, NY), was outscored 63-44 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Friends Academy Quakers (Locust Valley, NY)

With the victory, Friends Academy advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Quakers travel to North Shore (Glen Head, NY) to meet the Vikings in a Section 8 VIII battle on Thursday, January 9. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 3-1. North Shore lost 81-55 in their recent non-league battle against Harrison (Harrison, NY)
