Iowa High School Basketball - Lamoni overwhelms East Union
January 6, 2025: Lamoni, IA 50140 The Lamoni Demons basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting East Union Eagles to 26 in the Demons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Demons now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Moulton-Udell for a Bluegrass game on Tuesday, January 7. Lamoni will confront a Eagles team coming off a 67-21 league loss to Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, East Union falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Murray (Murray, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 4-3. Murray won 55-32 in their recent league game against Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA)
