The Murray Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting East Union Eagles to 11 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Diagonal for a Bluegrass game on Friday, January 10. Murray will confront a Maroons team coming off a 55-24 non-league loss to Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Maroons record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, East Union falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA) to confront the Warhawks in a non-league game on Friday, January 10.
