In Tuesday's league contest, the host Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored a good 61-51 win over the Bella Vista Broncos.

The Bruins (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons go into the Capital Valley Conference contest with a 10-5 record.

In their next game, the Broncos confront the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference contest, on Thursday, January 8. Bella Vista will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 73-68 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
