The Mingus Marauders edged the visiting Lee Williams Volunteers basketball team by a tally of 50-44 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Marauders now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flagstaff for a 4A Grand Canyon test on Thursday, January 8. Mingus will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 77-14 league win over Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.

The Volunteers (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record.
