The Mingus Marauders bounced the host Mohave Thunderbirds basketball squad by a final score of 65-21 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Marauders clash with the Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 13. Mingus will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record.

The Thunderbirds (0-10) will now prepare for their outing against Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Panthers go into the 4A Grand Canyon game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Coconino was ripped by Prescott (Prescott, AZ), 74-22, in a league game.
