In Friday's league outing, the Enka Jets (Enka, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), by a margin of 87-65.

The Jets (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Murphy smashed Andrews (Andrews, NC), 50-40, in a league outing.

The Titans now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Erwin for a 3A/4A Conference 53 outing on Friday, January 14.
