The Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host West Iredell Warriors to 35 in the Red Tornadoes league victory on Friday.

The Red Tornadoes now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foard for a 3A Conference 51 contest on Friday, January 14.

The Warriors (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights come into the 3A Conference 51 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, North Lincoln triumphed over Foard (Newton, NC), 77-42, in a league contest.
