North Carolina High School Basketball - North Iredell knocked off by Hickory

January 4, 2022: Hickory, NC 28601

The Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting North Iredell Raiders to 52 in the Red Tornadoes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Tornadoes now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Caldwell for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 6. Hickory will meet a Spartans team coming off a 53-48 non-league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 7-2.

The Raiders (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds enter the 3A Conference 51 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Statesville was outscored by East Lincoln (Denver, NC), 90-60, in a league contest.
