Texas High School Basketball - Legacy Christian Academy holds off Allen Academy
January 7, 2023: Bryan, TX 77802 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Legacy Christian Academy Warriors (Beaumont, TX) and the host Allen Academy Rams (Bryan, TX), saw Legacy Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Allen Academy by a tally of 67-60.
With the victory, Legacy Christian Academy improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chinquapin (Highlands, TX) to confront the Burrs in a TAPPS 2A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Burrs come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Chinquapin lost 59-14 in their recent league challenge against O'Connell (Galveston, TX)
Next up, the Rams confront the Grace Christian Academy Eagles (Houston, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Allen Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 62-51 league win over Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX).
