Texas High School Basketball - Allen Academy tops St. Joseph Catholic
January 13, 2023: Bryan, TX 77802 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Allen Academy Rams (Bryan, TX) and the visiting St. Joseph Catholic Eagles (Bryan, TX), saw Allen Academy's basketball squad knock off St. Joseph Catholic by a count of 50-37.
With the victory, Allen Academy upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Rams host Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX) to play the Cougars in a TAPPS 2A District 6 challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 12-9.
Next up, the Eagles play the Chinquapin Burrs (Highlands, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 6 challenge, on Saturday, January 14. St. Joseph Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Burrs come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 93-29 league loss to Grace Christian Academy (Houston, TX).
