January 7, 2023: Mapleton, MN 56065 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Maple River Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 67-41 triumph over the Chatfield Gophers.
With the victory, Maple River improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host United South Central (Wells, MN) to confront the Rebels in a A Section 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. United South Central won 84-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Alden-Conger (Alden, MN)
Next up, the Gophers confront the Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Chatfield will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
