Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple River overwhelms Triton
February 10, 2023: Mapleton, MN 56065 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) and the visiting Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), saw Maple River's basketball squad wallop Triton by a tally of 74-32.
With the victory, Maple River improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton lost 68-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Randolph (Randolph, MN)
Next up, the Cobras confront the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) in a AA Section 1 challenge, on Monday, February 13. Triton will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 89-64 non-league win over Christ's Household of Faith (St. Paul, MN).
