Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple River tops Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton
February 14, 2023: Janesville, MN 56048 Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN), 59-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Maple River moves its record to 19-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN) to face the Mainstreeters in a non-league game on Saturday, February 18. The Mainstreeters enter the game with a record of 13-7. Sauk Centre lost 65-56 in their recent non-league game against New London-Spicer (New London, MN)
With the defeat, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton moves to 9-12 on the year. The Bulldogs host Sibley East (Arlington, MN) to face the Wolverines in a non-league game on Friday, February 17. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 5-19. Sibley East lost 87-48 in their recent league game against Waseca (Waseca, MN)
