In Saturday's league outing, the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) basketball squad beat the host Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), by a margin of 62-50.

The Lancers (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Carson (Carson City, NV). The Senators go into the 5A Northern outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Carson was beaten by Reed (Sparks, NV), 62-55, in a league outing.

The Raiders now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a 5A Northern outing on Tuesday, January 10. Reed will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 56-45 league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Miners record now stands at 6-10.
