Oregon High School Basketball - Weston-McEwen topped by Stanfield
January 7, 2023: Stanfield, OR 97875 The Stanfield Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots to 59 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Irrigon for a 2A Blue Mountain contest on Friday, January 13. Stanfield will battle a Knights team coming off a 58-43 league loss to Enterprise (Enterprise, OR). The Knights record now stands at 2-11.
The TigerScots (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs come into the 2A Blue Mountain contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Heppner was defeated by Grant Union (John Day, OR), 50-45, in a league contest.
