Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), 55-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Omaha Central upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Eagles host Millard North (Omaha, NE) to play the Mustangs in a A District TBD bout on Friday, January 13. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Millard North won 66-34 in their recent league bout against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Dragons play the Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Thursday, January 12. Gretna will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 66-34 league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
