California High School Basketball - Hoover knocked off by Madera South

The Madera South Stallions basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Hoover Patriots to 31 in the Stallions league triumph on Saturday.

The Stallions now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a County/Metro contest on Wednesday, January 11. Madera South will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 60-8 league win over Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 14-4.

The Patriots (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Torres (Madera, CA). The Toros enter the County/Metro contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Torres was defeated by Fresno (Fresno, CA), 68-44, in a league contest.
