The Wells Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host York Wildcats to 43 in the Warriors league victory on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeport for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Marshwood prevailed over Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME), 47-41, in a league contest.
