January 7, 2025: Aberdeen, SD 57401 Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD), 72-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Aberdeen Christian upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD) to face the Coyotes in a B Region 1 match on Thursday, January 9. The Coyotes enter the match with a record of 2-4. Waverly/South Shore won 66-47 in their recent non-league match against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD)
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leola/Frederick for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. Roncalli will face a Titans squad coming off a 80-47 league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, SD). The Titans record now stands at 7-1.
