December 19, 2024: Aberdeen, SD 57401 Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD), 47-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Warner advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Monarchs host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD) to meet the Battlers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Battlers enter the match with a record of 0-3. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] lost 68-56 in their recent non-league match against Miller (Miller, SD)
The Cavaliers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dell Rapids for a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. Roncalli will meet a Quarriers squad coming off a 50-38 league win over Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Quarriers record now stands at 1-1.
