February 22, 2025: Waverly, SD 57263 The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes basketball squad (Waverly, SD), was outscored 72-56 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD)
With the victory, Roncalli advances its record to 8-11 on the year. The Cavaliers host Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to meet the Wambdi in a non-league battle on Monday, February 24. The Wambdi enter the battle with a record of 2-15. Tiospa Zina lost 74-66 in their recent non-league battle against Redfield (Redfield, SD)
The Coyotes now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Langford for a B Region 1 battle on Friday, February 28. Waverly/South Shore will meet a Lions squad coming off a 66-36 non-league loss to Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD). The Lions record now stands at 3-16.
