The Cox Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Hickory Hawks to 38 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tallwood for a Beach game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Hickory falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Gators in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Gators go into the game with a record of 2-3.
