The Hickory Hawks basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 43 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grassfield for a Southeastern game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Great Bridge falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Dolphins in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Dolphins go into the game with a record of 2-5. Cape Henry Collegiate lost 70-40 in their recent non-league game against Maury (Norfolk, VA)
