Virginia High School Basketball - Great Bridge trounced by King's Fork
February 17, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23322 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 111-33 in a league match.
With the victory, King's Fork advances its record to 20-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to meet the Bruins in a Southeastern match on Tuesday, February 18. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 11-10. Western Branch won 80-59 in their recent league match against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA)
The Wildcats now own a 3-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern match on Tuesday, February 18. Great Bridge will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 80-44 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 21-1.
