Virginia High School Basketball - Grassfield holds off Great Bridge
December 13, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23322 The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Great Bridge Wildcats to 52 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Dale for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Grassfield will confront a Knights team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Great Bridge falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Marlins in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. The Marlins go into the game with a record of 2-4.
