In Tuesday's league test, the Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) basketball squad defeated the visiting Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL), by a final score of 54-44.

Next, the Fightin' Tigers clash with the Branford Buccaneers (Branford, FL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Buccaneers come into the test with a 7-6 record after their 55-43 non-league win over Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL).
