The Manchester Essex Hornets basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Georgetown Royals to 60 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Manchester Essex will confront a Hawks team coming off a 58-29 non-league loss to Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Georgetown falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Royals host North Reading (North Reading, MA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-3.
