The Manchester Essex Hornets basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Georgetown Royals to 38 in the Hornets league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hornets now have a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Amesbury for a Cape Ann - Small game on Thursday, February 13. Manchester Essex will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 58-55 non-league loss to Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Redhawks record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Georgetown falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Ipswich (Ipswich, MA) to confront the Tigers in a Cape Ann - Small game on Thursday, February 13.
