California High School Basketball - Northwood victorious over Laguna Beach

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Northwood Timberwolves basketball team scored a good 70-60 triumph over the Laguna Beach Breakers.

The Timberwolves (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Lightning go into the Pacific Coast contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Sage Hill topped Portola (Irvine, CA), 49-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Breakers confront the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast contest, on Friday, January 10. Laguna Beach will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 72-68 league win over St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
