The Costa Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored 84 points and limited the visiting Laguna Beach Breakers to 78 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Costa Mesa will confront a Comanches team coming off a 69-62 non-league win over Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA). The Comanches record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Laguna Beach falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Breakers host Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA) to confront the Dolphins in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19.
