Minnesota High School Basketball - Osakis overwhelms St. John's Prep
January 7, 2025: Osakis, MN 56360 The Osakis Silverstreaks basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting St. John's Prep Johnnies to 53 in the Silverstreaks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Silverstreaks now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Browerville for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Osakis will confront a Tigers team coming off a 60-58 non-league win over Cromwell (Cromwell, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, St. John's Prep falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Johnnies host Upsala (Upsala, MN) to confront the Cardinals in a A Section 5 game on Thursday, January 9. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 6-3. Upsala won 52-41 in their recent non-league game against Royalton (Royalton, MN)
