In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Biggersville Lions basketball team scored a good 63-48 win over the Tremont Eagles.

The Lions (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Corinth was topped by Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 81-25, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS) in a 1A Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Tremont will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record.
