California High School Basketball - Valencia triumphant over Canyon

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) and the host Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), observed Valencia's basketball team overwhelm Canyon by a score of 75-49.

The Vikings (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Grizzlies come into the Foothill challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Golden Valley was routed by Saugus (Saugus, CA), 55-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cowboys encounter the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) in a Foothill challenge, on Friday, January 10. Canyon will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 56-17 league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).
