Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), 47-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Canyon advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cowboys travel to West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to face the Wildcats in a Foothill match on Friday, December 6. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-2. West Ranch won 42-21 in their recent league match against Castaic (Castaic, CA)

The Centurions now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a Foothill match on Friday, December 6. Saugus will face a Vikings squad coming off a 65-35 league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-1.
