January 7, 2025: DeSmet, SD 57231 Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD), 45-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Clark/Willow Lake advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Cyclones travel to Groton (Groton, SD) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 6-1. Groton won 51-34 in their recent non-league match against Warner (Warner, SD)
The Bulldogs now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a B Region 2 match on Thursday, January 9. DeSmet will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 51-19 non-league win over Madison (Madison, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.
