February 11, 2025: Flandreau, SD 57028 Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD), 64-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Flandreau upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Fliers travel to Baltic (Baltic, SD) to face the Bulldogs in a A Region 3 match on Tuesday, February 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-14. Baltic lost 68-35 in their recent non-league match against Canton (Canton, SD)
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oldham-Ramona/Rutland for a B Region 2 match on Friday, February 14. DeSmet will face a Rutland squad coming off a 79-51 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, SD). The Rutland record now stands at 4-15.
