Washington High School Basketball - Davenport toppled by Northwest Christian School
January 7, 2025: Colbert, WA 99005 Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA), 59-49 in a league match.
With the victory, Northwest Christian School upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Riverside (Chattaroy, WA) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Rams enter the match with a record of 1-11. Riverside lost 61-21 in their recent non-league match against St. George's (Spokane, WA)
The Gorillas now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Medical Lake for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. Davenport will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 55-32 non-league loss to Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-6.
