Washington High School Basketball - Davenport knocks off St. George's
December 20, 2024: Spokane, WA 99208 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) and the host St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA), observed Davenport's basketball team overcome St. George's by a margin of 49-29.
The Gorillas (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA). The Cougars come into the 2B Bi-County challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Chewelah dropped by Reardan (Reardan, WA), 72-8, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Mabton Vikings (Mabton, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. St. George's will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 57-43 league win over Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA).
