The Sage Ridge Scorpions basketball squad (Reno, NV), was crushed 58-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV)

With the victory, Virginia City advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Muckers travel to Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV) to meet the Serpents in a 1A West battle on Friday, January 10. The Serpents enter the battle with a record of 2-7. Mineral County lost 55-16 in their recent league battle against Smith Valley (Smith, NV)

The Scorpions now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Valley for a 1A West battle on Thursday, January 9. Sage Ridge will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-16 league win over Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.
