South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), 57-35 in a league match.

With the victory, South Columbus upgrades its record to 5-8 on the year. The Stallions travel to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC) to face the Titans in a 1A/2A Waccamaw match on Friday, January 10. The Titans enter the match with a record of 5-9. Heide Trask lost 64-23 in their recent league match against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC)

The Vikings now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Bladen for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. West Columbus will face a Knights squad coming off a 68-20 league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Knights record now stands at 3-8.
