January 8, 2024: Harrisville, RI 02830 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) and the visiting Times Squared Academy Eagles (Providence, RI), saw Burrillville's basketball squad overcome Times Squared Academy by a tally of 64-47.
With the victory, Burrillville improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI) to confront the Knights in a Division 2 challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Providence Country Day lost 66-37 in their recent league challenge against Rogers (Newport, RI)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Times Squared Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 62-39 league loss to Shea (Pawtucket, RI).
