California High School Basketball - Garfield overwhelms South East
January 8, 2024: South Gate, CA 90280 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) and the host South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA), saw Garfield's basketball squad wallop South East by a tally of 63-42.
With the victory, Garfield improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Spartans in a Eastern challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Huntington Park lost 69-36 in their recent league challenge against South Gate (South Gate, CA)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. South East will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 64-51 league win over Bell (Bell, CA).
